| Popis | The publication is a contribution to the topic of cultural history. The focus is on linguistics. It presents the general and specific linguistic foundations of the Slavisation (Bohemianisation) of the formerly predominantly German-speaking area in the Czech Republic after 1945. The main aim is not to produce a dialect monograph in the classical sense, but to illustrate the importance of dialectology for the study of language communication and thus contribute to the understanding of the basic phenomenon of language contact. |
