Popis The chapter focuses on the ways in which World War II is portrayed in Czech literature for children and youth, grouped into chronological-thematic units. It analyzes the specifics of the individual time periods and approaches of authors: schematic depiction of the war in literature from 1950s, disillusion approach to the war in 1960s, chronicle look back at war in the works from the 1970s and focus on the topic of holocaust in literature in the last 20 years. It presents a comprehensive depiction of this topic, also in a wider socio-historical context.
