Popis Any speech act performed by an individual is influenced by different factors. One group of important factors influencing the construction of utterances and the process of speaking are pragmatic factors, mostly location, age, social aspects, emotions, (non)formality etc. Therefore, when researching speech acts, it is necessary to consider both characteristics common for certain group as well as individual attributes apart of intra-language principles. Concerning the factor of location, for example, one has to keep in mind not only the local dimension of a dialect, but the cultural and historical relations as well. If the origin of a dia-lect is unclear, the spoken material has to be checked on variant or common features, the frequency of which defines if a dialect is mixed or homogenous. Other characteristics like age, education or gender condition the frequency of speech phenomena and their differentia-tion in particular situation. Emotions also determine the course of speech and (un)conscious selection of used expressions.
