Citace
Popis This article focuses on the description of the differences between two distinct literary movements, commonly referred to as First and Second Wave Czech Literature, that followed the expulsion of German forces and the end of the World War II. The study defines the main features of both waves and illustrates their contrasts through works set in Brno, which was occupied for the entirety of the war. As a literary setting, Brno reflects not only urban life but also broader cultural and historical changes, due to its pre-war sizeable ethnic German population, making it a valuable context for analyzing post-war prose.
