Popis The aim of the chapter was to describe the range of dynamic multimodal components in history e-textbooks for Czech lower secondary schools and to present and reflect on selected examples of multimedia from the perspective of their multimedia learning potential. The chapter summarizes selected aspects of the current theoretical background on multimedia learning (Mayer, 2021), present the most common types of dynamic multimedia in Czech history e-textbooks, and based on examples, suggest ways to enhance the multimodal learning potential.
