Candidate profile
- Young researchers who completed their PhD before 9 September 2026 and not longer than 8 years ago.
- Candidates who have not resided in the Czech Republic for more than 12 months during the last 3 years at the time of the deadline (9 September 2026).
Financial Terms
The grant traditionally covers an internationally competitive postdoc salary consisting primarily of a living allowance, mobility support, and, where applicable, family expenses. It also covers the costs of the postdoc’s research and professional development. The typical grant amount is approximately €190,000.
Monthly living allowance: €5,990, reduced by the correction coefficient for the Czech Republic of 94.1%.
Monthly mobility allowance: €710.
Monthly family allowance: €660 (only if applicable to the postdoc).
Monthly allowance for research and professional development: €1,000.
Monthly project management allowance: €650.
