The Faculty of Education MU is striving for awards that will make its environment more attractive to researchers

9 Dec 2019

The Faculty of Education of MU is taking the path to obtain awards for top care of researchers. The European Commission grants the HR Excellence in Research Award to organizations that provide researchers with a high quality work environment, transparent recruitment and support for career growth.

Only organizations that incorporate HRS4R (The Human Resources Strategy For Researchers) into their operations planning can apply.

Acceptance of the strategy leads to the commitment complying with 40 principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. The strategy will connect the faculty with a worldwide network of research organizations that have applied it as well. In the future, after obtaining the HR Award, the faculty will benefit from a significant advantage in some project calls and also a guarantee of a high-quality working environment for Czech and foreign job seekers.

The Faculty of Education submitted a project application to support the implementation of the strategy. The results of the submission will be published at the turn of November and December of this year. If the project application is approved, the staff of the Faculty of Education will prepare the essential documents that are a prerequisite for obtaining the HR Award, which will then be granted by the European Commission. The faculty is expected to receive the HR Award at the beginning of 2021.
