The aim of the project is to design research tools describing the use of geographical information systems (GIS) in teaching from the teacher’s perspective. The research will focus on the motivation to use GIS, previous experience with GIS of individual teachers and the resulting use of GIS in teaching. To examine individual teachers, the design multiple-case study was chosen. Various techniques will be used for data collection and situational analysis tools will be used for data analysis.
