Description Education and the educational process have recently focused on the development of pupils' competences. It is part of all curriculum documents. These competencies focus on the development of generally applicable knowledge, skills and attitudes in the life of pupils. And because the life of pupils is, and will be in the future, very varied, the set of competences is also growing. Among these competences, which pupils need to develop in recent years, there are financial and digital competencies connected with financial and digital literacy, but not only those. Competences associated with identifying fake news are also appearing, thus spreading the concept of information literacy, within which students also need to develop critical thinking, search and processing of relevant information as a part of both literacies. And part of financial literacy is also the area of entrepreneurship development, as a certain approach to life and the use of opportunities that life offers. In connection with the development of digital literacy, not only the use of a wide range of office software, or other types of software, is considered, but also the development of IT thinking. Not only the approaches mentioned above can be used to develop financial literacy among students. According to the results of measuring the level of financial literacy among pupils (PISA), it can be concluded that there is also a connection to the socio-economic status of these pupils, and subsequently also to their level of success in future economic application. For these reasons, the text focuses on the possibilities of developing financial literacy using digital technologies. Here one can identify a mutually enriching link between the development of financial and digital literacy, or relevant competencies. We also present examples from the European framework for the development of financial literacy among pupils, which also includes the areas of digital competences and connections with sustainable development corresponding to the Green Deal initiative and possibilities of its implementation in Czech Republic.
