Description The contribution is focused on the issue of pedagogical process' risk factors and possible preventive measures. The most important ones include the risk of infection transmission, lack of movement and overwork of pupils. Among other items, it is necessary to mention the risk of developing addictive behavior, stress maladaptation, unhealthy diet, inappropriate drinking regime and possible allergy of pupils. Primary prevention should focus on building and strengthening basic hygiene habits, a suitable microclimate in classrooms, the creation and fixation of desirable patterns of behavior supporting a healthy lifestyle, awareness of forms of addictive behavior and training in appropriate defense and rejection strategies. Intensive communication between the school and the family, the counseling system and other experts is also necessary. In the case of secondary prevention, it involves the early detection and solution of pupils at risk, the preparation and cooperation of experts working in a team that solves problems for the well-being of the child.
