Description The theme of participatory art has been established in the field of art theory for a long time. As early as in the prehistoric era, 'making art' usually involved several people sharing material, tools, space and emotions while creating an artwork, which included visual, audial, physical and dramatic manifestations. Therefore, creation can be understood as a process rather than a product since ancient times. Visual arts - whether it is an artwork by one author or a collective artwork - should be understood in certain respects as an invitation to activate the psychical potentials of the author and the viewer. The viewer may take on the role of an observer or the role of an "executor" of the artistic concept as is the case of participatory art. Creation as such is not only focused on the production of tangible objects, but it should also be perceived as a form of intervention in the models of human behavior, in establishing relationships among people and in establishing human contacts with the environment they live in. The value of visual arts is not measured by the price of objects that can be purchased, collected and reviewed or classified, but is given by the degree of social change entailed and the degree of affecting the human psyche.
