Description The literature review analysed ten studies and deals with support measures for pupils with special educational needs in mainstream school. Based on the research Czech and foreign authors, we decided to focus on the attitudes of teachers towards inclusive education, evaluation of the effectiveness of teaching methods, effective factors and support measures and application of inclusive principles. According to the researches, we can apply the general pedagogical methods for pupils with special educational needs, provided that those methods are adapted to the teaching objectives and opportunities of pupils with special educational needs. Teachers also stress the importance of motivation of pupils in the process of education.
