This project deals with problems of exact pre-identification of intelectually gifted pupils by their teachers at the primary schools. The aim is to found out whether teachers recognize giftedness without previous identification by psychologist.

Results

The results show that teachers are interested in gift children,but they don´t have adequate information about them. Except for information there are no suitable materials for work with these children. Teachers are able to characterize gift child. Teachers would like to have more information, absolvate another educational cursus and study about gift at university. Adequate lifelong learning and adequate materials would be good as well. Teachers would like to cooperate with another specialists and teachers, who work with these children. Publikace: kapitola v monografii Are teachers interested in gift children?
