Children with special education needs, developmental delays and/ or at risk are considered within the context of special education services. This project's overall aim is to improve the professional competencies of special needs care providers (Care give worker [CW]) through evidence-based practices and VR resources.
Within the context of this project, a training module will be developed as a set of educational materials and VR resources. Its effectiveness and impact will be tested. The training module will be prepared based on the current need analysis report. Then, educational materials objectives such as the guide and activities book will draw the report. The training module will be prepared at EQF level 6. Training module impact analyses will be collected depending on the practices with SEN children.
A training module including educational materials and VR resources developed from a multicultural and multidisciplinary perspective, whose effectiveness and impact will be confirmed. The academic and social skills of children with SEN will also be improved. The project’s output will be shared with the target groups, beneficiaries and relevant bodies. CWs who will be trained at EQF level 6. It will have comprehensive, advanced purposeful skills and can solve complex and unpredictable problems.
