This project aims to organise a workshop dealing with French and Francophone literature for children and young adults. Led by Michel Defourney, professor emeritus of the University of Liège, Belgium, the workshop will cover both the history of this literary genre and its possible applications in teaching practice.

It aims to broaden the awareness of literature for children, a genre often overlooked by literary sciences. It will also bring this area closer to not only students but also to practising teachers. The fact that the students will be able to interact with the well known expert and take active part in tutorials, in which Michel Defourney has extensive experience, will further the quality outcomes in the teaching of this subject.
