Description	The aim of this study is to report on prevalence of pathogenic spirochaetes (Borrelia burgdorferi s.l.) among ticks (Ixodes ricinus) in Brno in 2011. 2 adjacent districts in the suburban park Pisárky were monitored. Percentage of ticks infected by spirochaetes varied considerably in the studied districts.
