Description Modern approaches to assessment and evaluation in foreign language teaching emphasize the support of learning. The aim of the chapter is to provide an insight into the issues of the assessment of pupils with specific learning difficulties (SLD) in foreign language instruction. Partial results of a research study focusing the perspective of practicing teacher will be presented. Two research methods, namely questionnaire survey and focus group will be compared.
