Description The author deals with psychological research of stressors at Czech primary and secondary schools. He discusses the results of State Heath Institute research from 2002, the research projects of V. Holeček (2001), Z. Mlčák (1999), K. Paulík (1998) and Fontana and Abouserie (1993) who did their reserach at British primary schools. He presents the results of his own research from 2009, in which he focused on stress of secondary teachers caused by pupils. This type of stress and psychotrauma occurs during social communication with the pupils with difficult behaviour and behavioural disorders and in the situations when pupils are seriously injured.
