Contributions to the distribution and ecology of Carex hordeistichos Vill. In the Czech Republic and Slovakia

Description	Current and historical occurence of Carex hordeistichos in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. It was confirmed only 4 localities in the Czech Republic and 35 in Slovakia. Species had no well-defined coenotic relationship: it is facultative halophyte. In Slovakia, we re-evaluated the IUCN-status of C. hordeistichos to the category of vulnerable.
