| Description | The ecological values of the current river landscapes are traditionally characterized by a degree of degradation caused by human exploitation of this environment. Loss of original values is most often associated with technical river management regulations or hydric modifications of the whole catchment landscape. As a suitable indicator of the significance of the natural state disturbance of alluvium water flows can be used the results of the ecomorphological analysis of the fluvial environment. The issue of restoring focused on the improvement of hydrological functions of the landscape is in the presented poster solved on the example of the Košátecký brook basin as a model area in the Mělnicko region. Based on the expression of the relationship between environmental characteristics and the relevant hydrological parameters are possible to determine of some reserve in further land use. A key role in the process of planning other activities mainly should play a social demand for “landscape security”. |
