| Description | We report here on supramolecular objects containing glycoluril units and functioning as host molecules. The present paper contains a detailed discussion on the synthetic approaches leading to methylene bridged glycoluril oligomers, as well as a description of their supramolecular properties. We also discuss the recently obtained macrocycle, bambus[6]uril, and its affinity towards anions. |
