Description Giving first aid should be the ability of every teacher. In reality this presumption is not fully refl ected in the process of preparing the teacher for their profession. The contribution brings the report from the research which tries to fi nd out the readiness of future teachers from the point of „ ability to save the life “. The new methodology of testing the knowledge and ability of giving fi rst aid was used. This principle is based on investigation the students reactions to the concrete stimulated situations. In such situation (presented with short video) the health even the life was endangered. The paper presents research results, discussion over educational implication and shows perspectives and possibilities of impl Alice ementation of first aid education in the process of pregradual preparation of teachers.
