| Description | The subject of the article is the research of colloquial register of the Canadian French used in the monologs of Yvon Deschamps (1935), one of the best contemporary Quebec humorists. The selected corpus was analyzed from phonetic, morphologic, syntactic and lexicologic points of view. Differences firstly in the pronunciation and in choice of vocabulary (quebecism, anglicism) distinguish Quebec French from standard French. The diction of Yvon Deschamps reflects the abundance of linguistic particularities of Quebec language. |
