Description The chapter focuses on inclusive education; its definition and specification. It looks at the process of building inclusive environment of a school through the index for inclusion. The following quantitative research analyzes inclusive practices; policies and culture at primary schools in the region of north Moravia. The article presents selected outcomes of research conducted within the research project Special needs of students in context of the framework education programme for primary education.
