Description The paper deals with the research into stressful experiences and traumas in the past history of university students. In the hierarchy of traumas, the death of a close person has the highest ranking, followed by traumas at school. Other stresses reported by students were related to problems at work, divorces and separations, serious illnesses of close persons, their own diseases, subsistence problems, witnessing of death of an unknown person, their own car accident, personal failure, problems with friends and family problems.
