| Description | In the second half of the 20th century there has been developed a new approach to the music of older periods seeking stylishly informed interpretation coming out from the knowledge of broader historical contexts. This movement so-called early music includes promotion of specialized concerts, courses and educational programs. Faculty of Philosophy of MU in Brno has been realizing the study program A Theory and Performing Practice of Ancient Music from 1991 reflecting this development trend. |
