Description Our research investigates the frequency of difficulties and behavioral disorders in primary school pupils. It studies the symptoms typical for the particular difficulties. The difficulties are not of a pathological character; they are not rooted in personality itself. They are caused especially by upbringing and their condition is reversible. We targeted pupils at the Hudcova and Antonínská primary schools in Brno. Pupils’ teachers judged the occurrence of the particular symptoms in children. With the questionnaire, based on the frequency and intensity of the particular symptom, it is possible to distinguish whether the symptom is of mild or serious character. Another point of study was to compare the occurrence of difficulties in boys and girls and to discover a correlation between family problems and the prevalence of difficulties. The obtained results lead us to draw particular conclusions, concerning the concrete preventive precautions against the difficulties and their re-education.
