Description School environment is very scientifically interesting. However, when implementing a real world study of school environment we must face many problems related to the complexity of the studied phenomena, Salomon (1996) calls these "composite variables"; although it would be methodologically clearer to conceive them as variable clusters. Our presentation is based on data on the coping strategies and on the adolescents attitudes towards school collected in our longitudinal (1999-2002) research.
