Description The conference presentation shared insights into English education with a focus on folk songs – their inclusion in curricular documents and their presence in classroom practice. The presentation also introduced partial research findings addressing the questions: “What do pupils imagine when they hear the term folk song?” and “From whom did pupils learn folk songs?”
