| Description | The contribution, presented as part of the panel discussion, focused on translating the findings of research projects in the field of sport psychology into applied practice. Particular attention was paid to the role of perfectionism in the emergence and development of overtraining syndrome, the necessity of reflecting intergenerational changes in coaching styles, and other factors influencing athletic performance. Emphasis was placed on the need for interdisciplinary cooperation and on integrating basic and applied psychological disciplines with related scientific fields in order to address the demands of practice. |
