| Description | This presentation outlines a dissertation study examining how oral corrective feedback (OCF) functions as a formative assessment tool in Czech lower secondary EFL classrooms. Using a multi-method qualitative design, teachers’ and learners’ perceptions and uses of different OCF types are explored. Through multiple forms of triangulation and sociocultural theoretical framing, the presentation aims to provide a nuanced understanding of OCF practices and their formative potential. |
