Description This paper presents results of the analysis of Russian non-standart lexicon and its translation into Czech conducted on the parallel corpora InterCorp and NKRYa. Half of the research sample was represented in the corpora, due to its characteristics and the composition of the subcorpora. The identified correspondences in Czech were described in terms of stratification and functional differentiation. Thus, approximately 70 per cent of the translation equivalents were translated by non-standart Czech, specifically colloquial Czech. In interpreting the search results, we observed general trends that influenced the translator's decision in some way. These include, for example, text type, genre and period of text creation, but also the translator's specific style, his idiolect.
