Description This presentation contains a geocritical analysis of the inhabitation of a peripheral space, in Sylvie Germain's novel Breves de solitude, which becomes a forced centre of life for the characters affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Bertrand Westphal's geocritical approach to space in a literary text includes in its methodology multifocalisation, which is presented as a tension arising from the meeting of different points of view on the same place.
