| Description | The workshop introduces the practice of Way of Council, which can be used in a very meaningful way in a school setting. It is a way of working with a group based on non-hierarchical forms of peer communication that leads to active listening and honest expression. It is a specific practice, most often implemented in a circular setting, which brings inspiration, new perspectives, experiences, understanding, and contributes to conflict resolution or group decision-making. The Way of Council differs from other forms of circle practices, e.g. in the variety of forms, intentions, role of the facilitator, etc. Council offers a safe framework for the social and emotional development of pupils as well as the sharing of educational content. |
