Description The publication responds to one of the requirements arising from the Education Policy Strategy of the Czech Republic until 2030+. This is a focus on the balance of socio-emotional and cognitive development of children in preschool education. This is fully in line with the Framework Curriculum for Preschool Education. It was created within the Erasmus+ project Developing the Cognitive Potential of Preschoolers from Disadvantaged Backgrounds (2022-1-CZ01-KA220-SCH-000086145). The theoretical part of the publication is devoted to the development of cognitive areas, the development of the child's personality from the perspective of socio-emotional development, physical development and working capacity. It approaches the principles of individualization and integrated education and evaluation of educational results and self-evaluation of children. The main part of the methodology consists of examples of inspiring practice in the form of 96 activities. Kindergarten teachers participated in this part schools that implemented each activity during the school year.
