Description In this article, which is the sixth continuation in the thematic series (Not) Lost in Translation, the concept of project days with mediation for learners at high schools is presented. The goals of the didactic concept as well as the contents and the course of individual sequences of the project days are described. Last but not least, the article provides results from the feedbacks of learners, which were collected, coded and evaluated with the help of reflection sheets. From the thematic analysis it emerged that the learners found the mediation tasks they worked on during the project days meaningful and useful for their everyday live. They were able to take on different roles and deal with communication from diverse perspectives, with the role of the mediator being described as the most exciting and enjoyable.
