| Description | The lecture, focused on the history of domestic, Czech and Czecho-Slovak film music, was a part of the lecture series (in the area of humanities) of the University of the Third Age in 2023. The participants were introduced to the main milestones in the history of film composition, from the beginning of the last century to the current modern production, as well as to contemporary trends in film and music production and the works of the most important composers and performers for whom film music represented or still represents the main area of artistic activity. The lecture was complemented by numerous audio and video samples and a musical analysis of selected films. |
