| Description | The Advent concert of the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University, in 2023 consisted in its first half of the repertoire for choirs. It was started by The Faculty of Education Choir under the direction of František Ostrý. Three Christmas Carols, a short cycle of three- and four-part compositions on well-known Christmas lyrics for female voices a cappella, written by Ondřej Musil in 2018, were heard in the premiere performance. Although Three Christmas Carols had not previously been performed at the concert, they received an honorable mention in the 10th year of the Opus ignotum International Composition Competition for Choirs in 2022. |
