| Description | Professional training within the field of Teaching for the 1st Stage of Primary Schools tries to respond to the contents of a binding curricular document and to prepare students to succeed in their pedagogical practice. The educational area of Art and Culture still has an underestimated potential, even in the context of Cross-curricular themes and Complementary fields in the Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education. This is one of the reasons why the professional preparation at the Faculty of Education of Masaryk University includes the implementation of interdisciplinary art projects. Within them, the possibilities of interconnecting the contents of artistic disciplines into functional units are verified. The experience gained is used not only in the process of improving professional training, but also in the content of new music textbooks. |
