| Description | The aim of the study is to analyze various types of depiction of shamanism in contemporary Czech prose. Protagonist’s escapes from an „overly civilised“ world to a world of nations living in a close connection with nature have different form and motivation. The study examines different variations of shamanism in selected novels and follows the way how magical rituals engage in a story. Charactes of selected novels are also analyzed, especially their function in the story. |
