| Description | The research focus of the dissertation is analysis of the substance abuse of children or adolescents placed in institutional care facilities. The research tries to find out possibilities of the intervention of substance abuse by educators in these facilities. The first part aims at analysis of incidence of substance abuse in these facilities. The second part focuses on educators’ competences to solve the substance abuse - how they perceive the successful intervention, what they need for successful intervention with substance abuse issues. This part tries to identify good practices and experience, also point to legislation deficiencies. The aim of this research is to provide a set of possible interventions, which are based on 3P concept from behavioral disorders specialization and concepts from addictology - controlled illicit drug use, harm reduction and relapse prevention. The conference paper introduces theoretical resources for the research, describes the research design and presents the expected results and possibilities of the research’s outputs. |
