Description In teacher training, practical phases offer students the opportunity to further develop their skills and professionalize their own teaching. In a bilateral cooperation project, student teachers from the Czech Republic and Austria jointly prepared a week of teaching according to the concept of problem-based learning and carried it out as a project week at a Czech grammar school. The individual considerations of the students regarding their development of teaching skills and personality in project work are evaluated. Results indicate the benefit of integrating practical bilateral teaching experiences into the curriculum.
