Description The paper focuses on the issues of nature and social sciences in Czech primary education at the level of the projected curriculum in the past (historical-comparative analysis of curricula since 1918) and in the present (content analysis of SEP). The time allowance for this subject has a decreasing tendency. Despite the new possibilities, schools mostly adhere to the traditional non-integrated model of teaching this curriculum. Schools that integrate this curriculum usually devote less time to it.
