| Description | The course Art History: from Prehistory to the Present will take place at the Moravian Gallery in Brno from 24 September 2019 to 27 June 2020. We will meet in the library, on the 3rd floor of the Pražák Palace, located at 18 Husova Street, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. The course is for anyone who wants to get a general overview of art history, chronologically guiding you through the basic eras from prehistoric times to the present. Interested students may be from a variety of majors, adults or seniors, and it is appropriate for those seeking to study art history and related fields in college. The course will assist you in a basic orientation to European and Czech history and in placing significant figures in the context of stylistic epochs. |
