Description The work of the papal nuncio at the imperial court Carlo Caraffa (1621-1628) can be understood through two important documents - the main instructions of 1621, which defined the principles and objectives of his diplomatic mission, and extensive final reports of 1628. They differed from other documents of other nunciatures an interesting, comprehensive interpretation of history, which was closely connected with the time of their origin.
