Description The concluding chapter of the book explores shared features of the research-based models of teacher education, which are presented in the volume. The models appear to be complex models. They are characterised by a university-school partnership, in which universities assume a leading role. The programmes are designed as long-term interventions in teachers´ professional development, which occurs in a learning community. Teacher educators deploy a variety of tools, especially video, to enhance the professional development of teachers.
