Citation
Description In this chapter, the authors provide a cross-national overview of the experiences of mothers who have a disadvantaged position, living in ten different countries. Their (lack of) resources, wellbeing, experiences with childrearing and children’s education and feelings of identity are explored and discussed. This contribution shows the tremendous variety in these experiences, the resilience of mothers and identifies important sources of support.
