Description The aim of this paper is to introduce selected outcomes of an analysis of how students in peer interaction do word-searches (i.e. when one student has problems producing or recalling a word, with which another student can help). The findings of this conversation-analytic research show how students initiate word-search sequences, what resources they use and how they conclude such sequences. Attention is also paid to sequences in which the word-search was not successful.
