| Description | Theoretical study is focused on one of the most important representatives within the field of somatopaedia in the Czech Republic – Rudolf Jedlička on the occasion of his 150th anniversary of his birth. Jedlička’s institute for people with physical impairment is well-known. About the fate of a man, who established and gave the name to the institution is not known that much in the Czech public. There is a lot, what professor Jedlička had done. Aim of the study is to analyse the life and work of Rudolf Jedlička, founder of Prague sanatorium in Podolí. |
