Description To express the curvatures of curves in euclidean plane and space is a very standard differential geometric exercise. In the formulas, with respect to a general parametrization of the curve, volumes of parallelograms determined by first few derivatives of the curve are visible. Analogous relations for higher curvatures in spaces of higher dimension are not so well known, although still easily deducible. In this contribution we describe the most natural way to achieve them.
